Ceremony styles that reflect you
After visiting this Ceremony Styles page, I hope couples walk away with one simple, reassuring thought: “Our ceremony can truly reflect who we are.”
Whether you’re planning a traditional wedding, a modern celebration, a spiritual or non-religious ceremony, a civil wedding, an elopement, a vow renewal, or something completely unique, I want you to feel confident that there is no single right way to get married—only the way that feels right for you.
My goal is for you to see that every ceremony style I offer is flexible, thoughtful, and fully customizable. You don’t have to fit into a template or choose words that don’t resonate with you. Instead, your ceremony can be shaped around your values, your story, and the tone you want—whether that’s romantic, joyful, lighthearted, deeply meaningful, or a blend of it all.
Most popular ceremony styles
While every ceremony I create is unique, couples often gravitate toward the following ceremony styles. Each can be tailored to reflect your values, beliefs, and personalities.
Traditional wedding ceremonies
Perfect for couples who appreciate classic structure and timeless language. These ceremonies can include traditional elements while still allowing space for personal touches and meaningful customization.
Modern & personalized ceremonies
A popular choice for couples who want a ceremony that feels relaxed, current, and authentic. These ceremonies focus on your story, your journey together, and the promises you’re making, using language that feels natural and heartfelt.
Non-religious & civil ceremonies
Designed for couples seeking a meaningful ceremony without religious references. These ceremonies emphasize love, commitment, partnership, and shared values in a warm, respectful, and inclusive way.
Spiritual ceremonies
For couples who want to honour spirituality without strict religious structure. These ceremonies can include spiritual reflections, readings, or symbolic elements that align with your beliefs.
Elopements & intimate weddings
Ideal for smaller gatherings or private celebrations. These ceremonies are just as thoughtful and meaningful, with a focus on connection, simplicity, and intention.
Vow renewals & commitment ceremonies
A beautiful way to celebrate milestones, reaffirm love, or mark a new chapter together. These ceremonies are reflective, joyful, and deeply personal.
What makes my ceremony styles different?
From the very beginning, working together is a collaborative and enjoyable process. I truly love meeting with couples, hearing their stories, and planning their ceremony side by side. Our conversations are relaxed, welcoming, and focused on getting to know who you are—both individually and as a couple.
We’ll talk through your vision, your values, and the type of ceremony that feels right for you. Whether you already have clear ideas or aren’t sure where to start, I’ll guide you through the options, answer your questions, and help shape a ceremony that feels natural, meaningful, and reflective of your relationship.
Planning together allows us to fine-tune the details—tone, wording, flow, and any special elements—so nothing feels rushed or impersonal. It also ensures you feel confident and comfortable, knowing exactly what to expect on your wedding day.
Most importantly, this shared planning time helps build trust and connection. By the time your ceremony arrives, it feels less like you’re standing in front of an officiant and more like you’re being supported by someone who truly understands your story and is genuinely excited to celebrate it with you.
A memorable beach wedding
I had the pleasure of officiating several weddings on the beaches of local lakes in Simcoe County. The natural settings were incorporated beautifully, reflecting the couples' shared love of nature. The attire was less formal, reflecting a down-to-earth approach. The families and guests were thrilled with the unique and personal approach to the whole celebration.
One thing i want you to know
The one thing I want couples to know before booking me is that your ceremony truly matters to me.
I don’t see your wedding as just another date on my calendar. I take the time to get to know you, listen to your story, and understand what’s most important to you so your ceremony feels genuine, meaningful, and unmistakably yours. I approach every wedding with care, respect, and professionalism, and I prepare each ceremony as if it were one of the most important moments I’ll ever be asked to lead—because for you, it is.
When you choose me as your officiant, you can trust that you’ll have someone by your side who is calm, supportive, inclusive, and fully present. My goal is for you to feel confident, comfortable, and excited—knowing your ceremony is in caring hands and will be delivered with warmth, joy, and intention.
